Barton Grange receiving award

Barton Grange Hotel was delighted to receive the Business Tourism Award 2008/09 at the recent Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Awards. The category was heavily contested by some of the key players in the conference game.

The category focused on the business visitor, with venues being tested on their facilities for conferences, meetings and functions. The judges were looking for positive feedback from customers, the highest level of quality, plus a commitment to on-going investment.

The Hotel was commended for ‘providing facilities that are second to none, with staff that are helpful and do their absolute best for the client'. Ian Topping, Managing Director of the Barton Grange Hotel, said: "Excellent customer service has always been our priority and I am delighted that the team's efforts have been recognised in this way."

Barton Grange Conference Manager Tom Jordan received the award on behalf of the whole team from BB Radio Lancashire presenter, Ted Robbins.

The hotel will now go forward to the England's Northwest Tourism Awards, on Wednesday 22nd October at St George's Hall, Liverpool.
